Honey Source's Blog: Our first blog post!

First of all, a great big, "Welcome!" Thank you for visiting Honey Source's blog!

Since this is the very first blog post for Honey Source, we will comment a little bit about ourselves.

The concept of tracking the source of honey first occurred in 2015. The founder had begun performing live bee removals as a side job while pursuing his Master's degree, after responding to an ad on Craigslist (of all places!) Over time, after speaking with several clients as well as a SBDC (Small Business Development Center) consultant, Jp realized that he was very interested in beekeeping and wanted to learn more about the industry.

For the culminating Master's project, Jp (and his group members) researched and developed a business plan involving the sale of honey with a twist: using modern technology to empower honey consumers by enabling the consumers to be aware of the source of the honey being purchased.

Jp has since graduated and been awarded his degree, a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) and is continuing to fine-tune, research, and develop a refined business plan to achieve his vision.
